Baku temperatures to reach 38°C on Saturday
Dry weather is expected across most of Azerbaijan on July 11, with temperatures in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula forecast to reach as high as 38 degrees Celsius, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.
Northwesterly winds in Baku and Absheron are expected to shift to southeasterly during the day. Temperatures will range from 23-27°C at night to 33-38°C during the day.
Elsewhere in Azerbaijan, mainly dry weather is forecast, although brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in some mountainous areas. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 34-39°C in the lowlands and 20-30°C in the mountains.
